On the 18th, Smilegate released the new story 'Starry Night' for the 'Galactic Disaster' Season 3 content in the dark fantasy roguelike RPG 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' (hereinafter 'Chaos Zero Nightmare'), developed by Super Creative.
'Starry Night' is the third chapter of the 'Season 3' story. As a massive incident unfolds surrounding 'Tenebria,' the galaxy's top idol, the player (Captain) and the crew of the 'Nightmare' join a battle that will determine the fate of the new ship, the 'Eternity.' Players can use exclusive resources earned from playing the new story and Chaos Dungeons to exchange for items such as 'Cores' for editing save data, Signal Amplification Anchors, and growth resources.
'Tenebria,' the protagonist of the story, has joined as a new character. A Passion-attribute Psionic class combatant, she specializes in dealing powerful damage to enemies by utilizing 'Rhythm' keyword cards that trigger chain effects while removing basic attack cards from the player's deck. The newly added partner, 'Aria,' increases the Attack and critical hit damage of Psionic class characters when equipped.
A new 'Jukebox' system also makes its debut. Accessible from the lobby screen, the Jukebox allows players to freely listen to over 60 various in-game tracks from 'Chaos Zero Nightmare'.
Smilegate is launching a variety of promotions to celebrate the update. First, from the 18th to July 29th, a rhythm game event set at the concert venue of 'Tenebria' and 'Aria' will be held. Players can earn rewards in the exchange shop by clearing rhythm game missions and completing achievements. Additionally, the 'Exclusive Tenebria Close-up Coverage' event will offer Crystals, Cores, and growth resources for completing daily missions. Other benefits include a special attendance board and a 2x acquisition bonus for 'Memory Fragments,' a growth material.
Kim Ju-hyeong, General Manager of Business at Smilegate, stated, "We hope you enjoy the final story of the Galactic Disaster Season 3. We have introduced content to help you enjoy "Chaos Zero Nightmare" in more diverse ways, including our first-ever Jukebox system and a rhythm game-style commemorative event. We will continue to strive to deliver new fun to our players."
Details regarding 'Chaos Zero Nightmare' can be found on the official X and YouTube communities, as well as the official STOVE website.
