UserJoy Technology's Heroes of the Three Kingdoms series, based on Luo Guanzhong's classic novel Romance of the Three Kingdoms, is expanding into the fighting genre. The spin-off title Heroes of the Three Kingdoms: Fighting Edition will hold its second demo test from April 30 to May 5.

'Sanguo Qunying Zhuan: Fighting Edition' is a game that brings to mind 'Dynasty Warriors,' the fighting game released by Koei in 1997. It is important to note that this refers to the 1997 'Dynasty Warriors' title, not the later 'Dynasty Warriors' (Shin Sangokumusou) series. As a fighting game, the most notable features of 'Sanguo Qunying Zhuan: Fighting Edition' are its vast roster of iconic Three Kingdoms heroes and the signature weapons paired with each of them.

Unlike typical fighting games, the core of 'Sanguo Qunying Zhuan: Fighting Edition' lies in its weapons. Each character can equip two different weapons—such as axes, swords, halberds, spears, or iron whips—and switch between them freely during combat. Since each weapon offers unique range, attack speed, and combo potential, players can use them to build custom combos or adopt strategic playstyles to counter an opponent's specific weapon.

Another key feature of 'Sanguo Qunying Zhuan: Fighting Edition' is its low barrier to entry. Players can execute flashy, dynamic combos without complex command inputs, making the game accessible and easy to enjoy even for those unfamiliar with the fighting genre.
