Raw Fury’s critically acclaimed puzzle title Blue Prince has launched on Nintendo Switch 2 following its appearance at the latest Nintendo Indie World Showcase.
According to a release, the game is now available on Nintendo’s newest console, expanding its reach beyond its existing platforms — PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam, as well as Mac through Steam and the App Store.
The launch marks the latest milestone for the indie publisher as it continues to broaden the audience for one of 2025’s highest-rated releases.
A genre-blending mystery arrives on Switch 2
Developed by Dogubomb, Blue Prince is a first-person mystery game set within the shifting halls of Mt. Holly, a manor designed around ever-changing rooms and layered puzzles.
Players are tasked with navigating the estate in search of the elusive Room 46. Each chamber presents different mechanics, secrets and strategic decisions, with progression shaped by the path players choose to take. According to the release, the title blends puzzle, strategy and mystery elements to create an unpredictable playthrough experience.
The Switch 2 version enables handheld play, opening the game to a new segment of Nintendo players following its initial launch on other platforms.
Award recognition in 2025
According to the release, Blue Prince was among the best-reviewed games of 2025 and received nominations and wins across several major industry awards. These included recognition at the DICE Awards, Game Developers Choice Awards, Golden Joystick Awards, NAVGTR Awards, New York Game Awards, The Game Awards and The Indie Games Awards. The title was also longlisted for the BAFTA Games Awards.
While review aggregation scores were not disclosed in the announcement, the publisher described the game as one of the year’s standout indie releases. Dogubomb is an independent development studio founded by Tonda Ros and based in Hollywood, California. Blue Prince marks the studio’s debut title.
Raw Fury, headquartered in Stockholm, Sweden, is an indie publisher with more than 50 games in its catalogue. Its portfolio includes titles such as Call of the Sea, Sable, Cassette Beasts, Norco and the Kingdom series. The company has previously featured in Metacritic’s annual publisher rankings.
The release of Blue Prince on Nintendo Switch 2 continues Raw Fury’s strategy of platform expansion for its existing catalogue, bringing one of its most decorated recent titles to a new audience.
