"This is f--king disgusting": Technicals calls for Nairo to be banned

After being largely forgiven by the Super Smash Bros. community, it appears that some have changed their mind about Nairoby "Nairo" Quezada's innocence after Technicals dropped a video about the grooming allegations.

YouTuber Technicals has released a video exposing Nairo's alleged sexual misconduct. In 2020, Nairo was accused of inappropriate behavior with Zack "CaptainZack" Lauth, who was only 15 at the time. Nairo was 20. The sexual abuse allegations led to Nairo being banned from Twitch in September 2020 and being barred from competitive Smash events. He was also dropped by his sponsor.

Nairo came forward to claim his innocence following the drama. In October, Nairo explained that Zach had molested him and then used the situation to blackmail Nairo later on. Nairo had screenshots to share that supported this story — and others in the Smash community noted that CaptainZack was known for this manipulative behavior.

Since then, Nairo's had a successful career on YouTube where he is now a Smash content creator. But Technicals wasn't about to let the situation go just yet.

Technicals calls out Super Smash Bros. community for supporting Nairo

Technicals recently made a video attempting to prove Gonzalo "Zero" Castro as innocent. The video got a lot of attention from the Super Smash Bros. community, with many agreeing with Technicals angle. And now, Technicals has decided to speak about Nairo's relationship with CaptainZack.

In the video, Technicals attempted to prove that Nairo wasn't as innocent as he claimed, showing screenshots to support that Nairo flirted with CaptainZack, hung out with the teenager at events, and got jealous if CaptainZack showed interest in other players.

This included a TwitLonger from Gavin "Tweek" Dempsey that went into detail about how Nairo and CaptainZack were flirting throughout CEO Dreamland. Tweek claimed that Nairo "begged him" not to tell anyone about the hookup with CaptainZack. Knowing what happened for so long felt like a "burden" to Tweek, explaining that he had attempted to discourage CaptainZack from getting involved.

Technicals also brought up how Nairo has continued to claim that CaptainZack took advantage of him while he was asleep. Technicals said that this was irrelevant since there was a second sexual encounter the next day while Nairo was awake, although Nairo does claim that this happened to avoid being blackmailed.

"There's not an infinite number of decisions that Nairo, an adult, could have made at that moment. Apparently, he had to let it happen," Technicals said sarcastically. "If you can believe Nairo has done nothing wrong between the escalation through flirting, the blackmailed oral sex, covering up the story for three years, and then denying the allegations until it was impossible to do so, then congratulations — Nairo is innocent."

Technicals concluded that Nairo is "not in the clear," despite being blackmailed since he could have made another choice.

Technicals then listed all of the players that campaigned to get Nairo's Twitch account unbanned, including VoiD, Alpharad, Hungrybox, ESAM, Marss, WaDi, Dabuz, and MKLeo. According to Technicals, he wanted to "burn the entire community to the f--king ground" and accused Smash pros of being "scared" of him.

"This is f--king disgusting," Technicals said. "I'm not going to sit here while it happens right in front of me. This goes all the way to the top of the Smash Bros. hierarchy. What makes this any different from an actual pedophile ring? I'm not joking."

While Technicals harsh words got a reaction from the Smash community, including many calling for Nairo to be banned from YouTube and beyond, a lot of Smash players have continued to support Nairo throughout the controversy.
