Netmarble (CEO Kim Byung-kyu) announced on the 17th that it will hold an online showcase for its new action-adventure RPG, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' (developed by Netmarble Neo), at 8:00 PM today.

The event will feature Netmarble Neo PD Jang Hyun-il, renowned writer Lee Jong-bum, and popular influencer RoofTopCAT. They will share the story behind the creation of 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' and introduce the official launch schedule, core content, and service direction. The online showcase video will be available for anyone to watch on the official 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' YouTube channel.

Meanwhile, 'Game of Thrones: Kingsroad' begins its closed beta test (CBT) on Steam starting at 2:00 PM on the 17th. This test, held ahead of the official Asian launch, is open for applications via the Steam page until the 23rd. The test period runs from April 17 to 24.

Through the test, users can experience the 'Game of Thrones' universe brought to life as a high-quality open-world action RPG. Key features include action-packed gameplay that emphasizes the thrill of neutralizing enemy attacks through dodging and blocking, followed by parry-based counterattacks, as well as strategic combat that allows players to switch between two weapons in real time.

'Game of Thrones= Kingsroad' is an open-world action RPG currently in development, set during Season 4 of the Emmy and Golden Globe-winning HBO series 'Game of Thrones.' The game is being produced by Netmarble under an official license from HBO, a subsidiary of Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. It aims to provide maximum immersion by faithfully recreating the world and characters of the original series with high-quality graphics.
