Cosmos Entertainment (CEO Lee Ho-hyung) announced on the 15th that it has launched a large-scale update for the Nanman region on 'Cheongeum,' a new server for its classic MMORPG 'Online Samgukji 2.'

The Cheongeum server features an AI-based operational support system that uses user gameplay data to stably manage the server's economic flow and item supply structure.

This update represents a major content expansion built upon that operational foundation. The Nanman region is centered around the famous 'Seven Captures and Seven Releases' episode from the Three Kingdoms. In addition to the existing battle against Meng Huo, new bosses 'Hua Man' and 'Meng You' have been added, significantly broadening the combat experience.

In particular, the difficulty structure and combat balance have been finely tuned based on user data to enhance the strategic gameplay environment and improve overall content quality.

Furthermore, to improve accessibility to the Nanman region—which previously had a high barrier to entry—the developers introduced an event system that reflects user gameplay data. During the event period, players can exchange 'Rattan Armor Sets' for 'Maok,' designed to reduce the burden of character growth and provide a more inclusive user experience.

A representative for 'Online Samgukji 2' stated, "This update to the Nanman region is an example of expanding the user experience within an AI-based operational environment," adding, "We plan to continue making balanced adjustments to minimize any impact on siege taxes, legion operations, and the overall server market economy."
