Pearl Abyss announced today (the 23rd) that it has begun accepting applications for the Black Desert '2026 World Invitational.'
The '2026 World Invitational' is a PvP (Player vs. Player) tournament that expands upon the Korea-Japan Invitational held in March 2024 to include the broader Asian region. Adventurers from Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Thailand, and Southeast Asia will participate in these friendly matches to test their skills against one another.
The tournament will be held as a 3v3 team competition based on the rules of the Black Desert PvP content 'Arena of Arsha.' All participants will be provided with identical gear and stats to ensure the matches focus on individual skill.
To apply, players must form a team of 3 to 4 adventurers with a combined AP (Attack Power) and DP (Defense Power) of at least 820. Interested adventurers can submit their applications by May 6 by purchasing an application form via the NPC 'Henlo' located in the 'Battle Arena 1' server in-game.
The '2026 World Invitational' will hold regional qualifiers until May 23, with the top four teams from each region advancing to the main tournament starting June 13. Korean adventurers will face off against Japanese adventurers, while teams from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Macau will compete against those from Thailand and Southeast Asia.
The winning team of the invitational will receive: #1 Honorable Arsha Awakening Weapon (Permanent), #2 30,000 Cron Stones, #3 Special 'Arena of Arsha Winner' Title, and #4 Ring of Victory (Diamond).
