SOOP (co-CEOs Choi Young-woo and Lee Min-won) will oversee the domestic and global broadcast production and official streaming for the '2026 Esports Championship East Asia (ECA 2026).'

ECA 2026 is a global esports tournament hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and organized by the Korea e-Sports Association (KeSPA), Gyeongsangnam-do, and Jinju City. Launched in 2021 as an esports competition between Korea, China, and Japan, it expanded into an Asian-wide event last year. This year, seven countries are participating, including South Korea, China, Japan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, and Mongolia.

For this tournament, which is returning to South Korea after three years, SOOP will produce all matches held at the Jinju Indoor Gymnasium in Jinju, Gyeongsangnam-do, from the opening ceremony on Saturday, April 25, to the closing ceremony on Sunday, April 26. The ceremonies will be hosted by caster Jeon Yong-jun and announcer Jin Se-min, and all events will be broadcast live via official SOOP and KeSPA channels.

Approximately 150 national team athletes will compete across seven titles: PUBG Mobile, Eternal Return, Street Fighter 6, the eFootball series, The King of Fighters XV, Tekken 8, and Steppin'.

Events exclusive to the SOOP platform will also be held throughout the tournament. To celebrate the inclusion of 'Eternal Return' as an official title for the first time, SOOP will host a Drops event for users participating in live streams. Additionally, fans can participate in match prediction events and a contest to guess the final rankings of the South Korean national team.
