Jazz-pop artist Laufey is joining Fortnite Festival Season 14 as its headliner. The two-time Grammy Award winner will showcase a variety of seasonal content reflecting her music and style, starting with the launch of Season 14 on April 16.

This season introduces the new 'Emberlight Music Pass.' All Fortnite Crew members can unlock a series of rewards, starting with the 'White Dress Laufey' outfit, followed by Laufey-themed instruments, auras, the 'Madwoman' Jam Track, and the final reward, the 'Golden Era Laufey' outfit. Additionally, the Item Shop will feature the 'Lover Girl Laufey' outfit, the 'MeiMei the Bunny' Back Bling, and Jam Tracks and emotes related to 'Lover Girl' and 'Tough Luck.'

There are also changes to gameplay. A 'Mic Vocals' feature is being introduced, allowing players to sing in real-time using a compatible microphone. 'Pro Drums' will also be added, enabling players to connect a Rock Band 4 rhythm-action game controller or a compatible MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) drum kit for a more immersive performance. Furthermore, a new 'Quick Mix UI' will allow players to quickly swap or mix tracks during Jam Sessions.

Fortnite Festival is a music rhythm game mode within Fortnite that can be played solo or with up to four players. Users can perform songs on the Main Stage or combine tracks on the Jam Stage to create their own unique mixes. Previous season icons have included global pop stars such as Hatsune Miku, Sabrina Carpenter, Bruno Mars, Gorillaz, and Lisa.
