Zemblo Company, a developer specializing in trading card games (TCG) and board games, announced that it has opened pre-orders for a new board game based on the mobile game 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' starting Saturday, April 18.
'Goddess of Victory= Nikke Board Game' is a strategy game where players take on the role of a commander to defeat the mechanical lifeforms known as 'Raptures.' It captures the core appeal of the original game: squad building. Players can freely assemble their own squad by selecting five Nikkes from the Attacker, Defender, and Supporter classes, and must form an appropriate combination by considering the 'Burst' levels (I, II, and III), just like in the original game. Recommended combinations are provided for board game beginners, allowing even newcomers to easily experience the tactical fun.
The product includes 25 Nikke acrylic figures. During combat, when a player uses a Nikke's skill card, they can flip the corresponding acrylic figure to indicate it is in an 'exhausted' state. Exhausted Nikkes can be reactivated through a 'reload' action. Additionally, the game captures the intensity of combat with 'Burst cards' that can be used each round to unleash powerful attacks.
The game consists of three rounds, with a powerful boss appearing in the final round. There are six different bosses included, each with unique effects and patterns, allowing for diverse gameplay that requires new strategies every time.
Oh Jun-won, CEO of Zemblo Company, stated, "We put our heart and soul into perfectly integrating the charm of the global mega-hit 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke' into an offline board game system." He added, "We hope to provide fans of the original game with the joy of collecting 25 acrylic figures, and offer board game fans the fun of deep, strategic combat."
Pre-orders for the 'Goddess of Victory: Nikke Board Game' will run for approximately four weeks, from Saturday, April 18, to Sunday, May 17. Detailed information can be found on the Zemblo Company Smart Store and social media channels.
