Perfect World has released the 5.8 update, 'Return of the Wings,' for its sci-fi open-world game 'Tower of Fantasy,' developed by Hotta Studio, today (the 14th).

This version introduces a new main story, a limited-edition simulacrum character, and various themed events and rewards. First, the new main story, 'Return of the Wings - The Fish That Leaped Over the Old Clear Pond,' is now available. As the adventure in the Kilo universe concludes, the Wanderer fulfills a promise to Linysis and leads the relevant characters on the journey home. Meanwhile, 'Berry,' the mysterious undertaker introduced by Franz, emerges as an unexpected variable on the return trip.

With the arrival of the limited-edition simulacrum 'Berry,' the limited weapon 'Charon' and the limited 'Berry Matrix' have been officially added. A 'May Probability UP' event will run from 12:00 on March 19, 2026, to 04:59 on April 21. Users can participate in the event using 'Red Nucleus,' and during this period, the drop rate for the limited weapon 'Charon' will be significantly increased. Obtaining this weapon for the first time automatically unlocks the limited simulacrum 'Berry.' In addition to the character and weapon, Berry's premium skin, 'Purple Feather Night Witch,' will be released on March 28. Equipping the weapon appearance unlocks exclusive skill effects for the premium skin.

Various themed content will open sequentially, allowing players to earn rewards in the shop. As part of the new version's reward refresh, players can receive items such as Red Nucleus and Dark Crystals by logging in for seven days. Benefits for new users have also been upgraded, allowing them to select and obtain an SSR weapon simply by checking in.
