Yogscast Games Signs Two New Roguelites for 2026 Launch

Bristol-based publisher Yogscast Games has expanded its lineup of roguelite titles, announcing publishing agreements for Infinity Sweeper and The Gate Must Stand. Both games are scheduled to release in the first half of 2026. The deals continue the company’s focus on supporting solo developers and small studios with marketing and long-term publishing support.

Simon Byron, managing director at Yogscast Games, said the company sees continued player appetite for rogue-style games. “From the retro-futuristic vibe of Infinity Sweeper to battling apocalyptic bosses in The Gate Must Stand, both games deliver epic experiences for players,” Byron said in a statement.

Developed by Serbia-based Longshot Studio, Infinity Sweeper blends minesweeper-style deduction with roguelite progression. Players must clear safe tiles within shifting grids, where misdirection and hazards increase as levels advance. The game alternates between slower, puzzle-focused play and rapid boss encounters that emphasize quick reactions. A playable demo is currently available on Steam.

Longshot Studio founder Vidra said the partnership reflects the team’s goals for its debut project. “We wanted to create a game that brought back memories of yesteryear, yet give it a modern twist for indie players and roguelite purists,” Vidra said. The studio described Yogscast Games’ expertise as “invaluable” for bringing the title to a wider audience.

The Gate Must Stand, co-published with Chinese media and publishing company Gamersky, introduces a dark fantasy roguelike tower defense setting. Players defend the city of Belrak by choosing a hero, deploying ally units, and combining abilities to fend off waves of enemy forces. Boss encounters reward relics and upgrades, enabling new builds on subsequent runs.

Gamersky CEO Brandon Zhang said this marks the company’s third collaboration with Yogscast Games. “We want to create a reimagined tower defense game that keeps the player engaged and in the heart of the battle at all times,” Zhang said.

Yogscast Games, founded in 2017, has previously published titles including PlateUp! and Dungeons & Degenerate Gamblers. The publisher said more details on both upcoming games will be shared over the coming months. Users can follow updates through Yogscast Games’ official channels.
