PUBG Mobile is taking its creator outreach to the next level with the worldwide rollout of its Next Star Global Creator Recruitment program, offering more than $6 million in annual prizes and in-game rewards.
First introduced in select regions in 2021, the Next Star initiative has already distributed more than $3.5 million in funding and resources to thousands of creators. The global expansion will now cover eight regions: the Middle East and North Africa, Western Europe, North America, Eastern Europe, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Latin America, and Africa.
PUBG Mobile says the program is open to creators of all audience sizes, with no follower minimums required. To qualify, applicants must have published at least two PUBG Mobile videos in the past three months and agree to the program’s Code of Conduct. Region-specific eligibility rules also apply.
Rewards and Opportunities
Participants will have the chance to earn exclusive in-game items, including special titles and early beta access, as well as official exposure through PUBG Mobile’s channels. The program also includes opportunities for collaboration with other creators and the game’s development team.
According to Tencent Games, the goal is to provide tools, funding, and visibility to help creators build sustainable careers. Annual awards will recognize top contributors across all participating regions.
The initiative’s global launch underscores the growing emphasis on creator-driven promotion within the mobile gaming industry. For PUBG Mobile, which remains one of the most-played mobile games worldwide, tapping into a larger pool of content talent could help sustain player engagement in an increasingly competitive market.
Launched in 2018, PUBG Mobile is a battle royale game where up to 100 players compete to be the last one standing. Known for its realistic gunplay, large maps, and strategic gameplay, it has become one of the highest-grossing mobile titles worldwide, consistently maintaining a large player base and competitive esports scene.
Applications for the Next Star Global Creator Recruitment program are now open. More details and the sign-up form can be found at PUBG Mobile’s official creator hub.
