CS: GO climb to the top place of Twitch TV e-sports streaming, with over 1M concurrent viewers

CS: GO has set a record of exceeding one million people watching e-sports streaming in Twitch TV. This is the highest figure in Twitch TV e-sports streaming, significantly outpacing the previous record of 890,000.

Last weekend, the 10th ELeague Major Grand Final, Virtus Pro vs. Astralis, was held in Atlanta, Georgia. The game set was best-of-three series, and Astralis beat Virtus Pro 2-1 to win the championship.

The match was broadcast live on the Twitch TV ELeague channel, with over 1.026 million viewers watching game at the same time, updating the highest viewership ever. Christian Tamas, senior e-sports manager at Twitch TV, is widely known for releasing it on his Twitter.

This means that the size of the e-sports industry is growing and suggests that more and more people will be using e-sports as a spectacle. Since then, it is noteworthy what will happen when CS: GO's record breaks.
