2019 Esports Awards Industry and Community finalists revealed

On Thursday, August 29th, the finalists nominated for the 2019 Esports Awards were revealed via a special stream on Twitch. The 2019 Esports Awards will take place on Saturday, November 16th, at Esports Stadium Arlington in Arlington, TX.

Host O.J. Borg was joined on stream by Duncan "Thooorin" Shields and Alan "Bricetacular" Brice to discuss the various awards and their 2019 nominees. Bricetacular, a Call of Duty esports caster and commentator, will serve as a panelist for the 2019 Esports awards. Thooorin, an esports journalists for nearly two decades who won the award in 2017 and served as a panelist in 2018, is also a nominee for 2019 Esports Journalist of the Year.

Fans are able to vote for their favorite nominees through Saturday, November 9th. Tickets are available for esports fanatics looking to attend the event, but have sold out well before the event each year previous. 

At the conclusion of the broadcast, Borg confirmed that the Pro Awards nominees would be revealed on a following show that would air a later date closer to the event. Further information will be provided as it becomes available.
