FlyQuest Women's Flightwear is the first line of esports apparel made for women. The set, which features a sports bra, leggings, crop hoodie, lounge shorts, baseball tee and crop top, will go on sale May 24th at 12:00pm PST.
Since the franchising of the LCS ahead of the 2018 NA LCS Spring Split, FlyQuest has built the reputation of a value-driven esports organization. 50% of all net profits from the Women's Flightwear line will go directly to supporting Women for Women International. Founded in 1993, W4W International is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting women in conflict affected regions with social and economic empowerment, education and life, business and vocational skills.
“It is part of who we are as an organization to be a platform to help others,” said FlyQuest COO Tricia Sugita. “We believe wholeheartedly with Women for Women International’s mission to empower women and it is an honor to work with a partner bringing education and opportunities to women survivors of war and conflict.”
FlyQuest's partnership with Women for Women International extends beyond a division of profits. In addition, the organization will support 5 women in a yearlong training program that focuses on vocational and business skills training, rights awareness, health education, and additional emotional and social support. This puts extra emphasis on FlyQuest's committal to helping others in the esports industry, as well as non-endemic spaces.
“We started this project last year because we wanted to give more choices to women
in esports," said Sugita. "Every piece in this line has been designed from the ground up by the women of FlyQuest for women who want to feel comfortable and confident in what they wear to express themselves.”
FlyQuest Women's Flightwear will be available for purchase this Friday on the team's official website.
