Esports to be Excluded From the 2022 Asian Games


The official schedule and events for the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games revealed... Esports is not on the list. 

On the 8th April (KST), the 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games committee announced its schedule and events. Despite the high expectations from fans, esports has not been included in the 37 events for this Asian Games. 

The events for the 19th Asian Games, Hangzhou 2022 includes aquatics, archery, athletics, badminton, basketball, board games, boxing, canoeing, cricket, cycling, equestrian, fencing, field hockey, football, golf, gymnastics, handball, judo, kabaddi, jujitsu, kurash, wushu, modern pentathlon, roller sports, rowing, rugby sevens, sailing, sepak takraw, shooting, squash, table tennis, taekwondo, tennis, triathlon, volleyball, weightlifting, and wrestling. The 2022 Hangzhou Asian Games will be held on September 10th - 25th 2022.
