Steam concurrent users exceeded 14 million in 2017

 

Digital distribution platform Steam has a concurrent user count exceeding 14 million.


The number of concurrent users has steadily increased from 5 million in January 2012 to 8.5 million in January 2015, and in the same year of November, it reached 13 million. This year, the number exceeded 14 million.


According to a February 2015 indicator released by Steam, the accumulated number of accounts made up to that point seems to have reached 125 million.


Meanwhile, Steam announced that the most played game on Steam was Dota 2 and the maximum number of concurrent players counted was 840,000 and more.
