Vancouver Titans Reveal Logo, Roster

The second of Canada's two 2019 Overwatch League expansion teams, the Vancouver Titans, has revealed its logo and colors for the upcoming season.

The Titans' logo is a sasquatch and its colors are blue, green, and white. In the team's official press release, they explained the significance behind their branding: "The Vancouver Titans colours will be blue (primary), green (secondary), and white (accents) to represent Vancouver’s greenery surrounded by the Pacific Ocean. The colour shades signify a vibrant, contemporary take on the Vancouver Canucks palette, but still allow the Titans to develop their own West Coast style.

The Titans logo features a sasquatch, a folklore figure synonymous with the Pacific Northwest, with the monogram of a ‘V’ in the nose for Vancouver, and a mountain range on the top of its head. The team name of the Titans is indicative of the traits associated with the Sasquatch–a powerful, imposing, and mythical being."

The team's roster consists of former RunAway players (with the exception of Rapel, formerly of Element Mystic) and is as follows:

Kim "Haksal" Hyo-jong -- DPS
Lee "Hooreg" Dong-eun -- DPS
Seo "SeoMinSoo" Min-soo -- DPS
Lee "Stitch" Choong-hui -- DPS
Choi "JJANU" Hyeon-woo -- FLEX
Park "Bumper" Sang-beom -- TANK
Kim "Rapel" Jung-geun -- SUPPORT
Kim "SLIME" Sung-jun -- SUPPORT
Lee "Twilight" Ju-seok -- SUPPORT

Hwang "paJion" Ji-sub is the Titan's head coach, while Kwon "Yang1" Yang-won and Harsha Bandi serve as assistant coach and analyst, respectively.

The team is owned by Aquilini Group, the same business that owns both the Vancouver Canucks and the Roger's Arena in Vancouver, and is operated by Luminosity Gaming.

"The two organizations are working closely to help craft and implement all aspects of the Titans strategy surrounding player acquisition and development, key staffing, day-to-day operations, marketing, and more," reads the official press release.

The Overwatch League returns February 14, 2019 for its second season.
