The 2017 World Champions, Ambition and Crown, are now available for hire.

On the 16th of November, Gen.G Esports announced that Ambition and Crown's contracts have expired and that they're now free agents. The two veterans have been with the team since the Samsung era, going through their highest highs and lowest lows during their stay, but they will part ways with the organization starting next season.

This may be a big change for Crown, as he's been with the team since he joined the LCK in 2015; he had been playing in Brazil, but left due to homesickness. Samsung Galaxy (Now known as Gen.G Esports) was Crown's very first LCK team. Although Crown often had inconsistent performance in his past, he always put in the extra effort to overcome his weaknesses and come back stronger. Crown is most well-known for his Viktor and Malzahar.

As for Ambition, him stepping into the market may affect Gen.G more than him. He played since Season 1, and was finally able to lift the Summoner's Cup after he joined the team. Known for his mature and strict attitude towards the game, Ambition played the role of team captain -- both inside and outside of the game. In addition, Ambition boasts a quite handsome champion pool, as he has played multiple roles throughout his long career.

With their long-time leader figure now a free agent, it is unknown how or whom with Gen.G Esports plans to replace Ambition.
