Ssumday and Chaser join LCS’s Team Dignitas

LCS’s Team Dignitas has signed on Chanho ‘Ssumday’ Kim and Sanghyun ‘Chaser’ Lee.

Team Dignitas announced through its official website that Chanho ‘Ssumday’ Kim and Sanghyun ‘Chaser’ Lee will be joining the team. During the last season, the two had been playing for KT Rolster and Longzhu Gaming respectively.

Ssumday has shown outstanding performances throughout his career as the top-laner of KT Rolster; included in these performances is his victory at LOL Champions Korea Summer 2014 back when the team was known as KT Arrows. The other addition to the team, Chaser, is a respected Jungler from LCK. During his career in Jin Air Green Wings, he was well-known for his proactive plays. However, after his high-profile transfer into Longzhu Gaming this year, his performance has left a lot to be desired.

Team Dignitas is a team with an extensive heritage in the North American eSports scene, but 2016 was a rough year for them, as the team was relegated to the NA Challenger Series. Fortunately for the team, NBA’s Philadelphia 76ers purchased and merged Team Dignitas with Apex Gaming, allowing Team Dignitas to compete in the next season of LCS with top players from Korea.
