[Rift Rivals] SKT Faker: "We've still not fully adapted to the new meta, but we're watching a lot of games from the other regions and learning from them."

On the 5th of July, the Day 1 of the 'Rift Rivals: LCK x LPL x LMS' took place. On the 5th match of the day, LCK's SKT T1 defeated LMS' Machi Esports. Many LCK fans were concerned about SKT before their departure to China, but during their 1st game of the tournament, SKT played brilliantly. Each individual player displayed fantastic performance, and they were much more coordinated as a team.

After the match, Faker was invited for an interview with the LPL host.

You've often visited China in the past. How is it this time for you?

Honestly speaking, I've been to many different areas of China. Like Shanghai and Beijing, which are two cities that are very urban -- this place also has great facilities.

During your previous interview, you mentioned that you didn't know too much about Machi Esports. Now that you've played against them, what are your thoughts on them?

They were very unique during picks and bans. Their champion picks were very interesting.

In the LCK, your team isn't doing too well at the moment. How is your condition right now? How have you and your team adapted to the new meta?

We're getting a lot better. I think we'll make better results here. Also, we've still not fully adapted to the new meta, but we're watching a lot of games from the other regions and learning from them.

There are a lot of fans here cheering for you. Is there anything that you'd like to tell them? Also, what is your personal goal this year?

I'd like to thank all the fans. Also, as for my personal goal, I'd like for us [the LCK] to win the Rift Rivals this year.
