BBQ Tempt: "If the president of BBQ Chicken visits our games more often, I think we'll win more"

After a long and tiresome series, bbq Olivers took down Kingzone DragonX with a score of 2-1 and put a halt to their losing streak. Even after dropping game 2, the players of BBQ maintained their focus and took the final game and the series.

After the series, the sole MVP titlist, Tempt, was invited for an interview with the casters.

That was a rather long series. How do you feel after that victory?

Losing today's series would've been a problem for us. I'm glad that we were able to win our final game of Round 1.

You were playing against a team that has been winning every single game, KZ. Was there any pressure?

It was definitely pressuring, but I've been getting very confident in myself, so I believed that we could've won today.

I heard that the players of BBQ were practicing hard during the holiday. What motivated you guys?

Today's match was the final one for us in Round 1, so we told each other to give our absolute best.

It felt like you were very aware of the cameras today. You even said hello towards it.

The people around me - specifically the ones sitting right next to me - kept telling me to do that.

In game 1, your performance on Zoe was definitely a one of a kind. How were you feeling while playing her?

The enemy kept on getting hit by my E. I had a feeling that things were going to go well today.

KZ is famous for being a very aggressive team, and you guys had also drafted an aggressive composition. Did you prepare today's composition with that in mind?

I'm not too sure about that, but since our team's teamfighting used to be lackluster, we practiced around fortifying that during the holiday. I think it helped.

The Thresh-Skarner combo seemed very powerful.

The combo brought good results during scrims. IgNar is such a great player.

It's not a lie to say that Trick's performance has been dropping over the duration of the Spring Split. But recently, it seems like he's recovering from his slump.

Trick always does great during scrims. That's why I always have faith in him.

In game 1, you killed PraY's Ezreal instantly with Zoe. Did you predict that outcome?

I didn't predict anything really, I just scaled really well, so I knew that I could kill him.

Why do you think that you guys lost game 2?

We picked passive champions. I think that's why things didn't work out.

In game 3, what did you think of Bdd's Orianna pick?

I expected a very difficult laning phase, but then, when Khazix died near the blue buff in the beginning, it gave me an easier time.

Currently, the president of BBQ Chicken is here watching you guys. That must've put a lot of pressure.

The last time when the president visited our game, we won that series too. If he visits our games more often, I think we'll win more.

Do you have anything you want to tell him?

I love you!

Any last words?

Thank you for cheering for us. We'll do our best in Round 2 as well.
