The LCK is set to be broadcasted along with subtitles for the hearing-impaired fans of the Korean League of Legends esports scene.

On the Inven forums, AUD(AUD SOCIAL COOPERATIVE) left a post on the 16th of January saying that starting on the 17th, they will be hosting a stream that will be transcribing the spoken language of the official LCK broadcast. The stream will be held on one of Korea's most popular streaming platforms, AfreecaTV, on Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

AUD continued, stating in their post that "although we're still lacking in many areas, we'll give it our all and take on this task sincerely. We're very thankful for the support that we've been receiving from KeSPA and caster Jeon Yong-Jun. Their help allowed us to do this."

The first time in which special streams for the hearing-impaired were broadcasted was during the 2017 Worlds quarterfinals featuring SKT and RNG. The 2017 LoL KeSPA Cup was also broadcasted in the same way. The AUD broadcast that will be held tomorrow will be the very first for a regular split of the LCK. The KR League of Legends fans are all expressing their appreciation and support for AUD and the work they do.

The effort and dedication that AUD puts forth in order to help the hearing-impaired more thoroughly enjoy these competitions is an inspiration to the LCK community and perhaps will also inspire others in the worldwide LoL scene. If other groups and organizations in NA, China, and elsewhere also work to make their broadcasts more inclusive, then the whole of eSports will prosper from it.
