Choose any costume pieces you like and get the Pearl Costume Set Bonuses! Pearl Costume Set Bonus improved on Black Desert Online KR

New improvements have been made to the Pearl Costume Set Bonus in Black Desert Online KR. Now you can get the Pearl Costume Set Bonuses even if you wear pieces from different costume sets together, and the Costume Buffs for each piece will continue to stay in effect along with the Pearl Costume Set Bonuses.

Each new Pearl Costume Set Bonus is added when 4, 6, and 8 pieces of Pearl costumes are worn; there are 8 pieces in total, including helmet, armor, gloves, shoes, mainhand weapon, offhand weapon, Awakening weapon, and underwear. Pearl costumes that take multiple parts within one costume like the Kibelius will meet the requirements for the Pearl Costume Set Bonus, and you will need to wear every piece including underwear to get the 8-piece Pearl
Costume Set Bonuses.

▲ You can get the Pearl Costume Set Bonuses no matter what part you wear as long as you are wearing 4, 6, or 8 pieces of Pearl costumes.

▲ The Kibelius takes up the armor and gloves within one costume piece.

Now, let’s look at the Pearl Costume Set Bonus in details: putting on 4 pieces of Pearl costumes will give you additional 10% Combat EXP, while 6 pieces will give you additional 10% Skill EXP. Having all 8 pieces on will give you 10% extra durability decrease resistance for your gear and reduction in death penalty by 10%.

This means that having Pearl costumes equipment in all 8 slots will give you 10% increase in combat and skill EXP, increase durability decrease resistance by 10% and 10% less death penalty. These Pearl Costume Set Bonuses will be applied separately from the Costume Buffs each piece has.

★ The Pearl Costume Set Bonuses based on the number of pieces worn

★ The Costume Buffs for each piece

The new Pearl Costume Set Bonus is basically applied only on regular Pearl costumes. The Pearl Costume Set Bonus will not be applied on life skill costumes like the Venecil, Da-Dum Da-Dum Diving Suit, and Venia sets; the life skill costumes will only give you their own Set Bonuses but not the new Pearl Costume Set Bonus. Also, if you already have the Set Bonuses from wearing the life skill costumes, you won’t get the new Pearl Costume Set Bonuses for the regular Pearl costumes even if you wear 4 pieces.

However, this will not be applied on the Canape set- the Canape set is a life skill costume set which gives you 15% increase in cooking EXP and reduces the cooking time by 2 seconds, but it also gives you regular Costume Buffs. Since it is also a regular costume, the Canape set will give you the Costume Buffs for each piece, which other life skill costumes don’t have. Wearing all pieces for the Canape set while wearing underwear and Awakening weapon will give you cooking buffs as well as the new Pearl Costume Set Bonuses.

Here is a friendly reminder, though- the cooking buffs for the Canape set will only be applied when you are wearing all of the helmet, armor, and shoes together. For example, if a Warrior wears the Goyen Premium set while wearing only the Canape gloves, he will get the new Pearl Costume Set Bonuses, which are additional Combat and Skill EXP, and reduction in the death penalty and Durability consumption for gear, but he will not get the cooking buffs.

▲ The Canape costume may be a life skill costume, but it also gives you the Costume Buffs along with the Pearl Costume Set Bonuses.
