T1 won Game 2 as well, standing on the threshold of the semifinals.
T1 got off to a fantastic start in Game 2. During a Scuttle Crab contest, T1's bot duo and 'Faker' Lee Sang-hyeok's Cassiopeia rotated a tempo faster, allowing T1 to sweep up three unanswered kills. 'Peyz' Kim Su-hwan's Kai'Sa and 'Keria' Ryu Min-seok's Nautilus executed an ambush to catch 'Caliste's Tristana once more, while also holding Karmine Corp's tower dive to a 1-for-1 trade.
T1 continued to score relentlessly. Cassiopeia, already sitting on three kills, even pulled off a solo kill against the enemy ADC, while 'Canna' Kim Chang-dong's Ambessa, holding top lane alone, collapsed under the onslaught of 'Oner' Moon Hyeon-jun's Trundle and Kai'Sa. Just 10 minutes in, the global gold lead easily surpassed 3,000, and T1 steadily built up their dragon stacks.
Karmine Corp heavily invested resources into the side lane to shut down the deathless Cassiopeia. However, T1 still held total control of the match. Pushing into top lane, T1 chased down and wiped out the entire enemy squad. All Karmine Corp gained in return was a kill on Nautilus and a single bottom tower pushed down by 'kyeahoo' Kang Ye-hoo's Orianna.
Even down by over 5,000 gold, Karmine Corp refused to give up. They sharply targeted isolated T1 champions to score kills and temporarily denied T1's dragon stacking momentum. However, that was as far as they could go. T1 repeatedly caught out 'Busio's Rell and 'Yike's Pantheon as they searched for playmaking opportunities, ultimately securing a clean ace in a head-on teamfight to seal the victory.
