6 flawless McCree clips that highlight his mid-range dominance

▲ Back in the saddle again...

The bounty hunter, desperado, or that guy that yells about the time. Whatever you know him as McCree is a powerful hero in the right hands. His ultimate, while difficult to use correctly, is an instant kill, his primary is arguably better than his ult, and he even has a stun to top it off. These six McCree clips will inspire the gunslinger in you and, just maybe, give you some ideas on how to best shoot people in the head.

It’s definitely high noon now.

1. You gotta shoot ‘em in the head.

As anyone who has picked up the law bringer himself can attest to, headshots are the bread and butter of a skilled McCree. With a complete view of the point from his flanking vantage point, McCree has all the tools he needs to succeed. The enemy team is almost gifted straight to him as they line up perfectly to be knocked down.

2. A McCree in the bush is worth two in the flank.

Even characters that aren’t traditionally sneaky can take excellent advantage of your opponent's high graphics settings. McCree waits just long enough to snag three kills right as they discover his cunning trap. A quick clean up, and very smooth snap headshot on Soldier:76, and the attacking team has no chance to win in overtime.

3. The narrowest of escapes.

So what we can gather from this is either McCree has spider sense or is somehow omniscient and all knowing. Or he just briefly saw the shield before he went in on the Zenyatta, but that’s not nearly as fun. Not even the precision German engineering of Rein’s rocket charge is enough to stop McCree’s justice.

4. Dead man’s flank.

A headshot kill, a flashbang kill, and a kill on a jumping Genji yet McCree comes out only slightly worse for wear. Putting yourself in a flank away from the support of your team can be the perfect way to mop up some unlucky stragglers, or the last mistake you’ll make. Fortunately for this McCree he had more than enough skill to see it through.

5. A casual no stress Deadeye team wipe.

Ok yeah Doomfist helped a little bit but that would’ve ruined the title. Without a Reinhardt to block for his team, and nothing to quickly hide behind, all the attacking team can do is hope that McCree has mercy. That’s not gonna happen when excellent highlights are on the line though.

6. They just don’t stop running into his bullets.

His face at the end really says it all. Just when he’s dealt with one threat, another immediately pops up. With a quick trigger finger, same insane accuracy, and maybe a pinch of luck, he takes on all comers and survives by the skin of his teeth.
