Deep Silver and 4A Games opened digital pre-orders for 'METRO 2039' on October 14, revealing pre-order bonuses and edition contents. The game is scheduled to launch on February 5, 2027, KST, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
Digital pre-orders are available in Standard and Deluxe Editions. The Standard Edition includes the base game, while the Deluxe Edition bundles the base game with the Story Expansion DLC, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.
Digital pre-order customers will receive the 'Specialist Pack', a bonus offering early unlocks for three exclusive backpack upgrades based on 'Blueprints', a new exploration feature. The Specialist Pack consists of the 'Equipment Specialist Pouch', which speeds up crafting of advanced weapons and gear; the 'Chemtech Specialist Pouch', which assists in securing gas mask filters and exploring radioactive areas; and the 'Munitions Specialist Pouch', which enables players to find and utilize rare and powerful ammunition more frequently.
Physical editions will be sold at a later date in Standard, Deluxe, and Collector's Editions. The Collector's Edition, which will also release locally at a later date, includes a physical wearable 'Spartan Helmet' replica. It also comes with the game disc, a special limited SteelBook, a hardcover art book, the Story Expansion DLC, a digital art book, and a digital soundtrack.
Along with the start of pre-orders, an official pre-order trailer with Korean subtitles and a Collector's Edition showcase video were released. Detailed information about the game can be found on the official website and official social media channels.
