GRYPHLINE announced on October 13 that it is holding an Arknights: Endfield secondary creation contest in collaboration with Naver Webtoon. Submissions are open until November 8 across three categories: illustration, webtoon, and emoticons.
Titled "Draw Right Now!", the contest was created to support player creative activities centered around the 3D real-time strategy RPG Arknights: Endfield. In each category, 2 million won will be awarded to 1 Gold winner, 1 million won each to 2 Silver winners, and 300,000 won each to 3 Bronze winners. 10 Honorable Mention recipients will each receive a 30,000 won Naver Pay point voucher.
In addition to prize money and points, winners will receive an Atelier Theme 'Sa' merchandise set. The set consists of an acrylic stand, acrylic keychains, and a laser ticket. Results will be announced in November on the game's official lounge and communicated to winners individually.
Submissions close at 11:59 PM on November 8. Participants can submit their work via a Google Form after selecting "Participate" on the event page within Naver Webtoon.
An internal panel of judges will evaluate entries based on worldbuilding and character interpretation (40%), completeness of work (30%), and originality (30%). For webtoons, directing and composition will be evaluated under the completeness criterion, while for emoticons, usability and diversity of expression will be included under originality.
Three ongoing Naver Webtoon series—The Extra's Academy Survival Guide, Hero Killer, and Hiding Out in an Apocalypse—are participating in promoting the contest. Product placement (PPL) ads drawn by the creators of each webtoon will be displayed at the bottom of these series until October 20.
A social media sharing event will also take place during the contest period. Participants can post their creative work with the hashtags #엔필공모전 and #DrawRightNow on X, Pixiv, Instagram, or the "엔필공모전 with 네이버 웹툰" board on Naver Lounge, then enter the post link into the submission form.
