Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea released the Korean version of 'Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve' on PS5, XSX|S, and Steam on October 2.
'Ace Combat 8: Wings of Theve' is the latest entry in the Ace Combat series, which has recorded over 21 million cumulative sales. Players become ace pilots, flying freely through the skies, assessing situations to shoot down and destroy enemies, and completing missions.
In the online mode, players become mercenary pilots and enter an online lobby modeled after an air base. Here, they can enjoy co-op play or competitive battles with fighter jet fans from around the world, and completing repeated missions raises their mercenary 'rank.' The online mode manages progress and save data separately from the campaign mode.
The game is available in both physical and digital editions. The physical edition was released exclusively for PS5, while the standard digital edition can be purchased on PS5, XSX|S, and Steam. In addition to the standard edition, a Digital Deluxe Edition is also available for digital purchase. This edition includes the base game and early access, along with two aircraft skins: 'F-4E Mobius Squadron 25th Anniversary Skin' and 'F/A-18C Team Zvezda Skin'. Exclusive online mode items include the online lobby avatar outfit 'Tasha' and the aircraft enhancement part 'Missile Smoke【Scarlet】'. It also includes a PREMIUM ACE PASS PLUS Voucher.
The physical edition's pre-order bonus is also included in the Deluxe Edition package. This bonus consists of a ported version of 'ACE COMBAT ZERO: THE BELKAN WAR' and the playable F-14A Tomcat aircraft.
The game also supported 3-day early access for Deluxe Edition users starting on September 29.
