Nanali Studios has rolled out a 5th anniversary Season Pass update for Forest Island, which has surpassed 10 million cumulative downloads. The update introduces eight new animal species, anniversary decorations, and returning weather effects, alongside special events throughout October.
Nanali Studios announced an update on the 2nd for Forest Island, its idle animal healing game developed and operated by the company. A total lineup of eight new animal species was added in this update, including 'Party Bear', 'Party Sheep', 'Party Fox', 'Party Hamster', 'Golden Hamster', 'Yellow-throated Marten', and 'Mexican Wolf Family'.
The autumn-themed 'Sunset Sea' weather effect also makes a return. Players can decorate their island with newly added items such as the '5th Anniversary Deer Stone Statue', '5th Anniversary Cake', '5th Anniversary Party Decorations', 'Party Flowers', 'Sunflowers', and 'Butterfly Sculptures'.
On the official Instagram, special gift events, friend-tagging events, and October monthly events are being held to mark the 5th anniversary. New players who download the game from the App Store and Google Play will receive 'Baby Rabbit Triplets' and 1 'Albino Raccoon' as a welcome gift.
Registered users will receive gifts sent by animal friends in their in-game mailbox to align with animal-related holidays, such as World Animal Day on October 4 and World Black Cat Day on October 27.

In the second half of 2022, it received the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Commendation in the Functional Game category at the Game of the Month awards.
