Activision has unveiled the PC features and trailer for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, scheduled to launch on October 23. The PC version supports resolutions ranging from 4K to 1080p, upscaling and frame generation, and multi-layered anti-cheat protection.
The game automatically configures settings based on the user's hardware. It runs on most hardware configurations while delivering crisp graphics and high frame rate (FPS) gameplay on high-end PCs.
Displays are supported across 4K, 1440p, and 1080p resolutions, as well as standard and Ultrawide monitor environments. Upscaling and frame generation technologies include AMD FSR Redstone, NVIDIA DLSS 4.5, Intel XeSS 3, and Filmic SMAA T2X.
The multi-layered 'RICOCHET Anti-Cheat' combines server-side detections with hardware-based protections such as TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot integration. Deep investigations and legal action against the cheating market are conducted in parallel, while account security incorporates two-factor authentication (2FA) and email verification.
While supporting a wide variety of input devices, mouse precision during aiming has also been enhanced through sub-frame mouse polling.
