Pearl Abyss's open-world action-adventure game Crimson Desert Enhanced has been nominated in two categories at The Golden Joystick Awards 2026, including PC Game of the Year and Best Soundtrack.
Crimson Desert Enhanced ranked second in cumulative sales in the 2026 U.S. video game sales rankings compiled by market research firm Circana. According to global market intelligence firm Alinea Analytics, it ranked first in Steam revenue among new IPs released in 2026.
The Golden Joystick Awards is a global gaming ceremony that began in 1983 and marks its 44th edition this year. A panel of judges composed of gaming media outlets and industry experts selects nominees for each category, after which gamers and the public worldwide participate in online voting.
The PC Game of the Year category honors titles that demonstrate outstanding gameplay on PC, including performance optimization. The Best Soundtrack award is presented to titles that deliver high immersion and leave a lasting impression through their game music.
The final winners will be determined by user votes. Voting is open on the official website until October 23, and category winners will be announced in London, UK, on November 11 (local time).
In September, Pearl Abyss announced during Sony (SIE)'s online showcase State of Play (SOP) that the first downloadable content (DLC) for Crimson Desert Enhanced will launch on October 16.
