Lilith Games is launching a global collaboration between AFK Arena and the anime Kaiju No. 8 starting September 23. New adventurers can receive up to 1,000 total summons through related events.
The collaboration event runs from September 23 at 0:00 AM to October 20 at 11:59 PM (UTC). Players can participate on both Classic and Companion servers on iOS and Android, opening simultaneously for users worldwide.
In this collaboration, Kafka Hibino and Kikoru Shinomiya, who were caught in a spatial rift during a kaiju subjugation, arrive in Esperia, a world filled with monsters. When both characters enter battle together, a special bond effect is also triggered.
Kafka Hibino joins as a Tank and transforms into Kaiju No. 8 when battle begins. He blocks enemy physical attacks and inflicts Silence with "Absolute Defense," and when receiving fatal damage, he rises again in a "Berserk" state at the cost of reduced maximum HP.
Kikoru Shinomiya, playing a Warrior role, uses her custom battle axe. During combat, she accumulates "Unleashed Power" instead of Energy, allowing her to cast her Ultimate once for each bar filled. When all three bars are filled, her permanent stat boost effects are doubled.
During the collaboration period, a "7-Day Login Event" will take place, where new adventurers can log in for seven days to receive various rewards and up to 1,000 cumulative summons. Events including "Start Subjugation" allow players to obtain collaboration heroes and an exclusive Tavern skin for Kikoru Shinomiya.
In "Dimensional Subjugation," rewards are granted based on achieving "Subjugation Prep" objectives. When guild members clear specific stages together, all guild members receive "Joint Subjugation" rewards. In "Otherworld Scroll," players can collect event items through daily missions to complete collaboration illustrations, earning a limited poster and "Faith of Protection" sticker upon completing the full illustration.
