NEXUS (CEO Jang Hyun-guk) announced on September 23 that global node infrastructure firm HashKey Cloud has joined as a ONEchain validator. Operating blockchain infrastructure since 2018, HashKey Cloud will participate in block production and transaction verification for ONEchain Mainnet 2.0.
Validators verify whether transactions on a blockchain network are executed properly and participate in producing new blocks. HashKey Cloud will operate its own node while contributing to the security and maintenance of the ONEchain network.
ONEchain Mainnet 2.0 'Breakpoint' utilizes Proof of Staked Authority (PoSA), where validators generate blocks. Validators play a role in maintaining network reliability by meeting self-staking requirements and running nodes continuously.
HashKey Cloud is the institutional staking infrastructure provider of HashKey Group, a company listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. It operates validators across major Proof of Stake (PoS) networks including Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain, providing multi-chain staking services to institutional investors and asset managers. It has also secured SOC 2 and ISO certifications for its security management system.
Current ONEchain validators include ONEstore, H Lab, CertiK, OnchainLabs, RaidLabs, and Mblock. ONEchain plans to continuously secure external validators equipped with node operation capabilities and network contribution capacities.
The annual percentage rate (APR) of ONEstaking currently stands at approximately 73.73%. This reward rate varies depending on the scale of network rewards and the total staked quantity.
