Netmarble announced that it has launched the 'Godlike Festival' update for the mobile RPG The Seven Deadly Sins: GRAND CROSS (hereinafter The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross) to commemorate reaching 85 million cumulative global downloads. The update introduces the new UR-grade hero '[Almighty] Supreme God Odin', Chapter 10 of 'Ragnarok', and a new Demonic Beast Battle against 'Surtr'.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross launched in Korea and Japan in 2019 before beginning its global service in 2020. Since then, it has recorded over 85 million cumulative downloads worldwide.
The newly joined 'Odin' possesses abilities that reduce damage taken by allies and weaken enemies. When an enemy afflicted with 'Ability Debuff' suffers lethal damage from a single-target attack skill, additional damage proportional to Odin's max HP is dealt, allowing players to counter revived enemies.
In the 'King of Asgard' Pick-Up Draw, players are guaranteed to acquire one UR or SSR character included in the lineup upon reaching 300 and 600 loyalty points. Upon reaching 900 loyalty points, players will receive 'Odin'.
In the newly opened Chapter 10 of 'Ragnarok', players can enjoy a new story and acquire artifact sets. The 'Surtr' Demonic Beast Battle, which allows players to craft 'Ancient Holy Relics', has also been added, and playing this Demonic Beast Battle three times rewards 'Skuld's Holy Relic'.
Celebration events are also taking place. Logging in for 28 days yields up to 200 Diamonds. Completing a total of 16 special missions—split into eight missions each for the first and second halves of the event—rewards players with draw tickets, growth materials, and 'Odin's Power Box', which contains up to 200 Diamonds.
The 'Bingo Event' allows players to participate using tickets earned from playing content, granting growth materials based on step-by-step and full bingo completions. The 'Diamond Payback Event' offers rewards according to the amount of Diamonds spent during the event period, awarding an 'Odin' costume upon spending 900 Diamonds. Additionally, the 'Ragnarok Special Boss Battle' featuring 'Galga' and 'Grave' has opened.
Furthermore, weekly events include the 'Lucky Bag Event', where rewards are obtained using Lucky Bag tickets, and the 'Fort Solgres Reward Dungeon Event', which hands out daily growth materials such as Super Awakening Coins and Hammers of Vaizel.
The Seven Deadly Sins: Grand Cross is a mobile RPG based on the anime adaptation of Nakaba Suzuki's manga series, The Seven Deadly Sins.
