Kakao Games announced on the 23rd that it has adjusted monster balance for the dungeon 'Seasons of Illusions' and improved quality-of-life features in its MMORPG ArcheAge WAR. The company is also hosting growth support events for each server and a server-wide '14-Day Abundance Check-In' event.
In 'Seasons of Illusions', where players from all servers gather, monster balance has been adjusted to increase hunting efficiency. 'Five-Colored Paradise', which previously contained both Normal and Chaos zones, has been entirely converted into a Chaos zone; when the boss 'Aria of Bewitchment' appears, certain areas shift to Normal zones. The dungeon, which was previously accessible at all times, will now open only on weekends and operate every week until balance adjustments for the 'Ancient Forest' are completed.
The 'Rookborne Basin' region in the Eastern Continent, added in August, was also tuned. Certain hunting ground boundaries were adjusted so players can easily identify zones where teleportation is allowed during Chaos status. For the region boss 'Drokan of Destruction', the duration of the 'Remove Curse' pattern and the size of the purification area have been increased, while visual effect readability has also been improved.
Quality-of-life improvements have also been implemented. A new 'Auto Tome Retraining' feature has been introduced, alongside adjustments to commission re-acceptance, 'Kalevar' recharge counts, chat window settings, and other features.
On the 'Gdelon' server, events such as 'Gdelon's Gift'—where players collect points to exchange for items like the 'Primordial Summon Ticket Selection Box'—and 'Radiant Growth Support Check-In', which allows players to craft growth support gear up to Legendary grade, are underway. On the 'Varua' server, 'Lucky Draw Season 4'—offering rewards such as the 'Ayanad Equipment Selection Box'—and 'Special Support Mission Vol. 4', which rewards Equipment Restoration Tickets, have been introduced.
Players across all servers can claim rewards such as the 'Synthesis Retry Ticket Selection Box', 'Legendary Summon Ticket Selection Box', and 'Legendary Challenge Ticket Selection Box' through the '14-Day Abundance Check-In'.
