Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, Devsisters is adding new Cookies and battle content to its mobile RPG 'CookieRun: Kingdom' and mobile idle RPG 'CookieRun: Crumble - Idle RPG' (hereinafter 'CookieRun: Crumble'). CookieRun: Kingdom completed its update on the morning of September 23, while CookieRun: Crumble will roll out its update on the afternoon of the same day.
In CookieRun: Kingdom, the 'Flames of Mortality, Eternal History' update introduced Episode 11, 'Flames That Devour the Ages', to the 'Timeline of Fate' World Exploration. The episode follows Golden Cheese Cookie, who is struggling to rebuild her kingdom after the war, as she dives into Burning Spice Cookie's memories to gain his power.
A new Beast-grade Charge Cookie, 'Mortal Rajapendra Cookie', has also arrived. When using his skill 'Summon Fire Centipede', he deals damage to nearby enemies and summons a fire centipede to inflict Burn, damage over time, and the 'Seal of Mortality' on all enemies. Epic-grade Healing Cookie 'Mogra Cookie', who uses the skill 'Spread the Tale', was also added alongside him.
The new battle content 'Mortal Rajapendra Raid' will run for a total of four seasons. Players can form a party tailored to the boss's trait of adapting to elemental attacks and challenge the giant Rajapendra. A new growth item called 'Mirror Topping', which duplicates the bonus stats of existing toppings, and 'Ages of Kingdom', content in which players develop their kingdom across different eras, have also been introduced.
In CookieRun: Crumble, two new Cookies, a Pet, and battle content have been added. The TSSR-tier Fire-element Charge Cookie 'Princess Bari Cookie' charges at enemies with high Attack to deal area damage, while applying 'Soul Guidance' to herself and allied Charge Cookies to inflict damage over time to nearby enemies. Joining her are the Defense-type 'Pampered with Persimmon Moon Rabbit Cookie', who transforms into a giant Rice Cake Rabbit, and the Pet 'Candy Shade Pouch'.
'Bustling Arena', a seasonal competitive mode where players across all servers battle each other, is also opening. For players who have cleared all stages, 'The Other Side of Dimension' allows them to boost stats using a dedicated progression mechanic called 'Dimensional Power' and challenge multi-stage bosses.
Quality-of-life features have also been improved. A feature allowing players to level up items to max at once within their available resources, and a restoration feature that returns equipment plate enhancement levels back to items when they drop significantly, have been added. Players will also be able to change equipment preset types while pulling equipment from the Oven.
