Nexon updated its mobile racing game KartRider Rush+ on September 22 with collaboration content featuring K-pop group ALPHA DRIVE ONE (ALD1). The update introduces items designed with input from the seven members alongside a Chuseok event awarding up to 150 Batteries.
Through the collaboration, the Legend Speed Kart 'FORMULA Kart,' inspired by ALPHA DRIVE ONE's stage for 'FORMULA,' has been added. The steering wheel-shaped 'ALD1 Lightstick' Flying Pet also makes its debut, along with auras, skids, and costumes reflecting the distinct personalities of the members.
For the first time in KartRider Rush+, member profile photos featuring real portrait photos have been implemented. The game is also releasing the 'ALD1 Package,' which includes signature stickers, license plates, the 'ALD1 Wish Stone,' and Batteries.
Nexon is running mission events until October 18, including daily logins, driving 5,555 meters daily, and securing the first Ranked Match win of the day. Players can exchange fragments collected through missions for items such as 'ALD1 Hair (Permanent)' and 'ALD1 Costume (Permanent)'. Logging in for a total of three cumulative days during the same period yields 'ALD1 Goggles (Permanent)'.
Until October 20, players receive a raffle ticket for every five Multiplayer matches completed, which can be used to enter draws for autographed member Polaroids, an ALD1 Photocard Set (Dao Version), AirPods Max 2, and more. Equipping the 'FORMULA Kart' and 'ALD1 Lightstick' Flying Pet awards additional raffle tickets daily.
An event is also taking place for players who acquire all 'ALD1 Packages' for all seven ALPHA DRIVE ONE members. The first 2,000 players who complete the exchange on the official website by November 11 will receive an ALD1 Photocard Set (Office Worker Version).
The members directly participated in planning and designing the collaboration items. Nexon showcased the creation process and in-game implementations in web variety show episodes released on September 8 and 21, with the final episode scheduled for release in October.
The Chuseok event awards up to 150 Batteries based on cumulative login days until October 5. Completing three Ranked Matches with a friend between September 24 and 26 rewards players with a 'Season Chest Key' and applies an extra point buff for those playing between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM. From September 24 to 27, harvest EXP and harvest yield in 'Rush Farm' will each increase by 50%, alongside a 50% boost to Restaurant Coin revenue.
