Smilegate Future Lab signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Seongnam Youth Foundation to promote creative education for youth and young adults. In the youth AI video creation workshop co-operated during the first half of this year, 5 youth works were submitted to the Busan International Kids and Youth Film Festival.
Future Lab announced on the 22nd that it will build a collaborative framework to support the growth of future generations in the Seongnam region by linking the creative education capabilities and youth activity expertise of both organizations.
Under the agreement, the two organizations will jointly develop and operate educational programs, as well as mutually link future education content and human and material resources. They will also pursue cooperation to enhance the professional expertise of education personnel.
The two entities plan to expand programs in which youth produce videos using AI as a creative tool. They also plan to broaden their scope of collaboration by preparing training for career guidance teachers in Seongnam.
Oh Sook-hyun, head of Smilegate Future Lab, said, "I am pleased that Future Lab's creative education can reach more youth and young adults in the local community." She added, "In partnership with the Seongnam Youth Foundation, we will continue to create a creative environment where future generations can discover their potential."
