Gaming gear brand SteelSeries (CEO Ehtisham Rabbani) has signed an official sponsorship agreement for the 'SOOP Overwatch Meolmangjeon,' featuring a total prize pool of 20 million won, and will provide prize support alongside a discount promotion of up to 25%.
The 'SOOP Overwatch Meolmangjeon' takes place from September 20 to September 24, featuring a total of 24 SOOP gaming and live streamers, including four team captains, divided into four teams to compete. Out of the 20 million won total prize pool, 15 million won will be awarded to the first-place team and 5 million won to the second-place team. The tournament schedule begins with the team auction on September 20, followed by a two-day best-of-three round-robin league from September 22 to September 23, and concludes with the best-of-seven finals on September 24 at 5:00 PM. Matches will be broadcast through the Overwatch Meolmangjeon and Nexon Overwatch channels on SOOP.
Participating as an official sponsor, SteelSeries will provide high-performance gear as tournament prizes, including 'Apex 7' and 'Apex 3' gaming keyboards, 'Aerox 3 Gen 2' wireless gaming mice, 'QcK Pro' gaming mousepads, and 'Arctis Nova 3' wireless gaming headsets.
To commemorate the tournament, SteelSeries will also host a special 'SteelSeries X Overwatch Meolmangjeon' promotion on the SteelSeries Naver Store from September 20 to September 30. During the event, 'QcK Pro' L and XL mousepads as well as 'Aerox 3 Wireless Gen 2' gaming mice can be purchased at discounts of up to 25%.
