Kingnet has introduced a versatile new class, 'Musician', to its cross-platform mobile and PC MMORPG Yulgang: Next, along with a rich lineup of events for the holiday season, including the opening of 10 themed servers.
Kingnet announced on September 22 that it has added the new 'Musician' class to its 3D MMORPG Yulgang: Next and is launching various promotions to celebrate the holiday season. Based on the popular comic IP Yulgang, the game is a cross-platform title for PC and mobile that reproduces the original martial arts world in 3D graphics.
The newly revealed 'Musician' is an all-around class that utilizes the 'guqin' instrument as a weapon, controlling the battlefield with high firepower and versatile crowd control while granting beneficial buffs to teammates. It excels across various combat environments, from 1v1 duels to large-scale group battles and monster hunting. In particular, the core mechanic is the 'Chord Performance' system, which changes effects every four martial skill activations in combat, altering combo effects such as increased attack power or battlefield control depending on the chosen chord type.
A large-scale Chuseok event is also taking place for the holiday. From September 23 to 27, all players who log in will receive exclusive cosmetics and items free of charge, including a 'Chuseok Limited Frame', 'Speech Bubble', and 'Outfit'. Additionally, starting on September 23, a total of 10 'Jackpot' themed servers will open sequentially at a rate of one per day. Players on each server can complete given missions over five days following its opening to earn chances to participate in the 'Jackpot Gift Roulette' and try for rewards such as cultural gift certificates.
Furthermore, the 'Tongcheon Pavilion Climbing Challenge' will run from September 23 to October 7.
