Bandai Namco Entertainment Korea will begin accepting pre-orders for the Korean physical edition of Tales of Eternia Remastered for Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 5 on September 23, 2026.
The physical edition features a reversible cover with two different artwork designs on the front and back.
This title is a remaster of Tales of Eternia returning after over 20 years. While preserving its story spanning two worlds and its 2D combat system, the "Aggressive Linear Motion Battle System (A-LMBS)", the game adds quality-of-life features for modern playability.
The story begins when the protagonist, Reid, and his childhood friend, Farah, who live in the remote village of Rasheans in Inferia, meet Meredy, a girl from Celestia. Upon learning that the impending "Grand Fall"—a collision between the two worlds—is drawing near, they set out on a journey across both realms to avert the crisis.
The remastered version introduces quality-of-life enhancements, including destination icons, the option to turn off enemy encounters, and a high-speed auto-battle mode. Players can also toggle display modes to experience the graphics and sound effects with the mood of the original version.
The Korean edition of Tales of Eternia Remastered will launch on October 15, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and Xbox Series X|S. The Steam version will be released on October 16.
