FiftyOne Percent showcased its 1–5 player co-op action roguelike Pebble Knights at Game Esports Seoul 2026, while also recently unveiling its 2.0 update and a renewed demo.
Game Esports Seoul 2026 took place from September 18 to 20 at DDP Art Hall 1 in Seoul. FiftyOne Percent set up a hands-on booth at the event, allowing visitors to experience co-op gameplay where they gather resources to grow their kingdom and defend against incoming enemies. The company explained that its "grow by eating everything" system also drew significant interest on-site.
In Pebble Knights, players explore the kingdom during the day to acquire resources and equipment, and team up at night to defend against attacks from the "Hell Mold Legion." Players can craft builds by eating shiny "Trait" items, and the game also features co-op elements such as devouring fallen teammates' graves to revive them.
The 2.0 update revamped the highly requested "Trait Enhancement System." Previously, obtaining duplicate Traits replaced an existing Trait with a random higher tier, but following the update, players can enhance their desired Traits while keeping them. Players can continue their build and swap to a new Trait if a better, higher-tier Trait appears.
The promotion method for "Knights" who acquire three of the same Trait has also changed. Instead of random automatic promotion, players can select their desired Trait, with choices including a "Double Promotion" that increases the level by two steps at once.
The renewed demo available on Steam features a beginner guide UI. It is structured so that first-time players can easily learn the core systems and co-op gameplay.
A representative from FiftyOne Percent expressed gratitude to visitors who tried Pebble Knights at the event, stating that they hope more players will experience the co-op gameplay and versatile build options through the 2.0 update and renewed demo.
