INPLAY INTERACTIVE announced on September 21 that it has released the downloadable content (DLC) 'Mayhem Collection' for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. The DLC features a new story starring The Joker and Harley Quinn, Mayhem Mode, costumes for seven playable characters, and five decorative items.
INPLAY INTERACTIVE introduced this DLC in collaboration with TT Games, The LEGO Group, DC, and publisher Warner Bros. Games. The new story mission follows The Joker and Harley Quinn as they break out of Arkham Asylum and establish a customizable hideout at Amusement Mile. Unique abilities, equipment, and costumes for both characters are also featured.
In the new Mayhem Mode, players can engage in criminal activities across Gotham City. In timed Mayhem Runs, players battle enemies, smash surrounding objects, and construct villain-exclusive LEGO structures.
Along the way, players evade pursuit from Batman and Robin while confronting A.R.G.U.S. agents and Amanda Waller's Task Force X. Players will also encounter DC Super-Villains including Captain Boomerang, Deadshot, Deathstroke, Killer Croc, King Shark, and Polka-Dot Man.
The 'Sinister Pack,' featuring Super-Villain-themed costumes for all seven existing playable characters, has also been added. It also includes five new items to decorate the Batcave and the Jokermobile vehicle for open-world exploration.
An enhanced 'Absolute' difficulty setting has also been updated for all players. Designed as a higher level of challenge than the existing 'Caped Crusader' and 'Dark Knight' settings, it demands skill, alertness, and precision in combat.
Developed by TT Games, LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is an open-world action-adventure game depicting Bruce Wayne's journey to becoming the hero of Gotham City. It features elements inspired by Batman films, TV shows, comic books, and games, alongside LEGO's signature humor.
