Joy Games officially released the mobile roguelike shooting defense RPG 'Duck Survival' on September 18.
'Duck Survival' is the sequel to 'Zombie.io: Potato Shooting,' which launched in September 2024. Inheriting the hack-and-slash RPG and roguelike elements of its predecessor, the title combines tower defense and shooting mechanics.
Set in an apocalyptic world overrun by zombies, the game tells the story of a duck protagonist who gathers hero allies to defend their base. Players build a survival base during the day and fight off swarming zombie hordes at night.
The game merges tower defense focused on base building and defensive strategy with action-packed shooting combat where players directly face enemies. Through a skill awakening system, players can choose their progression path according to combat situations. Content such as hero recruitment, equipment evolution, and guild battles is also provided.
Actor Kim Ki-bang has been selected as the game's promotional ambassador. To celebrate the official launch, Joy Games is rewarding pre-registration participants with an exclusive duck skin, 777 free draws, an Epic-grade Gatling gun, and 100,000 in-game currency. Events are also underway on the official Naver Lounge, offering rewards such as Hero Supply Vouchers, Skill Supply Vouchers, and random enhancement blueprints.
