Arc System Works Asia announced on the 16th that it has released 'Zohar', a new DLC character for 'Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes', on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
The Nintendo Switch version is scheduled for release on the 24th at 10:00 AM. To use 'Zohar', the base game and the latest update patch are required, and the character is not included in the 'UNI2 Season Pass'.
'Zohar' is a speed-type infighter who throws off opponents by coordinating with her Doppelganger. She uses techniques that attack with giant spikes or instantly close the distance to target the opponent's rear, specializing in coordinated attacks and breaking through guards.
In her character lore, 'Zohar' was a member who formed Bankikai alongside Ogre and Strix. During a battle with Amnesia, she lost her sanity after being consumed by power overflowing from the Abyss, and later heads into the 'Night' searching for Strix following rumors that her close friend is still alive. The character is voiced by Aiko Okubo.
'Under Night In-Birth II Sys:Celes' is the seventh entry and first numbered title in the 2D fighting game series 'Under Night In-Birth'. Players can chain combos with simple button inputs, and the game features new moves for each character, revamped visuals, and rollback netcode support. With the addition of 'Zohar', the roster of playable characters now totals 28.
