
On the 16th, New Normal Soft announced that concurrent players on Steam for its idle RPG 'War of Genesis: Idle Loot' had exceeded 37,000.
'War of Genesis: Idle Loot' officially launched on Steam on the 10th. According to SteamDB metrics as of the 15th provided by New Normal Soft, concurrent players surpassed 37,000, and the game reached 26th place on the Steam popular charts.
The game is an idle RPG where characters automatically engage in combat and farming in a corner of your PC desktop. Utilizing characters and the world of 'The War of Genesis' IP, it is designed so players can leave it running while multitasking with other work.
Players can grow their characters by fusing items obtained from hunting, and trade select items with other users on the Steam Community Market. The game also provides Alliance Raids, World Bosses, and Arena, a player-versus-player mode.
A representative from New Normal Soft said, "We are grateful that concurrent player counts have been steadily rising alongside high interest from domestic and overseas players since our Steam release," adding, "To ensure global players can enjoy the game more comfortably, we will sequentially roll out various updates, including expanding preset features, automatic gem fusion, chat translation, improved item delivery methods for Steam Market purchases, and enhanced visibility during raid battles."
