The Twilight Mountains is a field hunting ground located across the river north of Aden Castle. Inside, only Giants and the boss monster, Ancient Giant, appear. In this area, players can obtain valuable items including the Shock Stun technical book, as well as new equipment such as Titan's Belt and Ancient Giant's Ring.
With regular monsters in their mid-to-late 40s and the boss at level 58, it is not a particularly difficult hunting ground for players who are already hunting well in higher-tier areas. In particular, it is less dangerous than the Wind Dragon's Nest/Scar region that players must pass through to get here, thanks to a lower monster density with fewer spawns, a lack of ranged attacks, and slow movement speeds. However, their attack power is much stronger, so forming a 1:1 party with a Mage or defeating them one by one is recommended.
One key feature is that unlike the Wind Dragon region where saving locations is allowed, saving locations is impossible starting from the Twilight Mountains. There is a small bridge where you cross from Wind Dragon's Nest into the Twilight Mountains, so saving your location before crossing that bridge allows for easier access to the Twilight Mountains—be sure to save your location before entering the hunting ground.
As a side note, except for the boss, all regular Giants share the exact name "Giant," making them hard to distinguish. However, the visually darkest Giants are higher level and drop valuable technical books such as Shock Stun, Reduction Armor, and Bounce Attack. Make them your top priority when hunting.
Additionally, heading deep into the southeastern part of the Twilight Mountains leads to the Tower of Insolence, the top-tier hunting ground of this version. Naturally, saving locations is impossible both at the entrance to and inside the Tower of Insolence, so to reach it, players must traverse the Twilight Mountains, use a Tower of Insolence Teleport Scroll, or utilize paid items such as a Dungeon Memory Book.
