NEOWIZ announced on the 15th that it opened a collaboration pop-up store for its relaxing mobile idle game 'Cats & Soup' with Youngpoong Bookstore.
The 'Cats & Soup Between the Bookshelves' pop-up store will operate until October 11 in the Gallery Archive Zone at Youngpoong Bookstore's Yeouido IFC Mall branch. Combining the atmosphere of the game with Youngpoong Bookstore's cultural and relaxation spaces, it was designed to allow players and general visitors to experience the game IP.
The venue features a photo zone where visitors can take photos with Kiki, a character who cooks soup, a relaxation zone where visitors can read books while listening to the game's background music, and a photo booth providing pop-up store-exclusive frames. In the merchandise zone, newly introduced 'Cats & Soup' goods are on display and for sale.
Visitors will receive items such as bookmarks containing in-game item coupons and photo booth passes. Those who verify owning 40 or more cats in the game can receive a 'Collection Badge for Veteran Butlers'.
An event linked with Youngpoong Bookstore's Culture Page is also underway. Members who apply for 'Cats & Soup' culture products and receive a notification message will be given three types of photo cards on-site. On weekends, a photo session with a 'Kiki' mascot costume and an SNS verification event will take place.
A NEOWIZ representative said, "This pop-up store was prepared so visitors can experience the healing sentiment of 'Cats & Soup' in a fresh way in an offline space like Youngpoong Bookstore," adding, "We will continue to expand our touchpoints with users through various content connecting online and offline experiences."
